Today was . . . Amazing.
I met Tom.
I can't say whether or not I truly like him, but I sure do have a crush.
And not just because he's adorable, but because he got me to open up without even having to try, and he didn't say anything to make me feel stupid.
Granted, our conversation started on otherwise horrid terms, but once things petered out, I think we both realized that the reason why we fought in the first place was because we're the same. We have so many of the same views and ideals, and have been through some of the same things.
I honestly have never met anyone who's allowed me to pour out my entire soul to them without either telling me I'm weird, or telling me my problems don't matter.
It's 2:11 AM, and I'm still awake because I stayed up all night talking to him.
At the very least, I've made a new friend.
(He even likes to write stories, too!)
